What is the Dash?
The Denver City Lax Dash is a 5K race that will take place at Washington Park on February 8th, 2015. The race is bringing the Colorado lacrosse community together to support and rally around a great cause. The Dash is a community service opportunity engaging the Colorado High School lacrosse community in a fundraising event benefiting Denver City Lax! Last year, in 2014, over 100 HS lacrosse players from all over Colorado ran in the Dash making it the most successful non-profit fundraiser attributable to high school lacrosse players in Colorado lacrosse history!
All proceeds from the event go straight to benefiting youth in City Lax, which eliminates the financial barrier to the sport of lacrosse and then uses the game to engage participants in team play, leadership and youth development camps, travel, outdoor adventure experiences, mentoring, and college preparation. There’s also a lot of other reasons you should sign up!
How to Sign Up?
Fill out the form embedded in the “Sign Up to Run” button below. From there, we will make your personal crowdfunding page and send it to you. You can add a picture to your personal page then send out your Crowdrise page link to friends and family. Once you have achieved fundraising $100 you will be registered in the 5K race.
How Does Crowdrise Work?
Crowdrise is a team-based crowdfundraising platform. Each school participating in the Dash has a team page, and each runner representing that school has their own personal page. This is where you ask friends and family to support your running effort.
