Denver City Lax is bringing the Colorado Lacrosse community together to support and rally around a great cause – The Denver City Lax Dash! This year the race will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2015.
The Dash is a 5K race involving members of the Colorado Lacrosse community. The race will take part within the Valentine’s Day 5k in Washington Park.
This past year, 100+ runners participated in the first ever Denver City Lax Dash. All funds raised from the Dash help Denver City Lax offer all programming at no cost to participants to remove any barrier that might hinder opportunity and access.
We need your help to make this year’s race an even bigger success!

We just wrapped up a our first ever Fall camp! The camp took place over two full days at MLK Jr Recreation Center in Park Hill, and coincided with the Denver Public Schools Fall Break.
The goal was simple. Get City Lax participants doing something fun, active, and positive over their Fall break.
Each day consisted of both lacrosse and non-lacrosse activities including but not limited to: lacrosse skill development, enrichment/debate, 3x lacrosse, sharks and minnows, fitness, tag, and capture the flag.
It was great to have some stellar coaches including Dillon Roy, Eric Law, Mike Reilly, Myya Bonner Jr (City Lax Alum), Daniel Rahe (City Lax Alum), and Coach Ben all helping make it a fun experience.
There were a lot of smiles and laughs from both the kids and coaches.

A group of City Lax girls headed up to Boulder on Saturday, October 18 to hang out with the CU Women’s Lacrosse team and get a campus tour. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day.
The day started by watching the CU Women’s intersquad Black vs Gold scrimmage. All the City Lax girls were impressed by the skill of the CU team.
Following the scrimmage players from the CU women’s team partnered up with the City Lax girls for a walk around campus and a tour of the college’s facilities. The girls hit it off right away!
Walking around the beautiful Boulder campus with the flatirons in the background got everyone in the college frame of mind. The visit had all the girls thinking and talking about their future goals.
Thank you to the CU Women’s Lacrosse coaches and players for the awesome experience!
