The United Club Level at Sports Authority Field at Mile High once again provided a tremendous venue for the Denver City Lax Mile High Gala.
A sold out room of over 400 supporters gathered on February 18 to celebrate kids in Denver City Lax and assist in providing educational and enrichment opportunities for youth in under-served Denver communities through the sport of lacrosse.
The Mile High Gala has become the local lacrosse event of the year bringing together individuals from all affiliations acting in unison to grow the game by providing opportunity and access for Denver area urban youth. The evening featured a cocktail and dinner hour, silent auction and special appeal. Presenters included six-time NCAA championship and current University of Denver head coach Bill Tierney, DU and World Games gold medal winning coach Matt Brown, and Denver Outlaw president Mac Freeman, as well as 8th grade City Lax participant Cole Finley-Ponds.
We want to thank the Colorado lacrosse and business communities for helping Denver City Lax provide resources to kids in urban Denver neighborhoods! We also want to recognize this year’s sponsors: The Denver Outlaws, Team 180, Boom Town Lacrosse and the Denver Lacrosse Club.
