Great job on and off the field by all 8 Denver City Lax middle school participants at last week’s SummerBounce camp in New Hampshire.  And a big shout out to Cole Finley Ponds who earned the camp’s Peacemaker award given to one male and one female for exemplifying MetroLacrosse’s core curriculum of RESPECT – Responsibility, Effort, Sportsmanship, Participation, Enthusiasm, Communication and Teamwork.  All right Cole!

SummerBounce is hosted by MetroLacrosse, a Boston organization that brings together youth from urban lacrosse programs across the United States for a week-long overnight lacrosse camp held at the New Hampton School in New Hampshire.  In addition to lacrosse, daily activities include group team building exercises, classroom enrichment sessions and outdoor challenges.  Campers stay in dorms and each day rise early and work and play late.

Thank you MetroLacrosse for hosting Denver City Lax and programs from other cities!  Kudos to Kim, Eileen, Pat and Fitz and the entire staff for making the week a meaningful experience.  Great show!
